About

Hi there — I’m Michael, and I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a writer, storyteller, and deep observer of the world around me. Through MajorityVoice.org, I share stories and perspectives that I hope resonate with your own experiences or challenge you to see something in a new light. Whether I’m writing about culture, everyday life, social dynamics, or the quiet lessons we learn just by being human, I believe in the power of words to connect us.

Writing has been part of my identity for as long as I can remember. I hold degrees in journalism which helped me ground my passion in academic and practical skills. But beyond the classroom, the lived experiences, conversations, and observations have shaped my voice the most.

Before launching this blog, I spent years writing and publishing, dabbling in journalism, editing, content strategy, and even freelance ghostwriting. Each chapter added new layers to my understanding of how stories work and why they matter. I’ve been lucky to collaborate with other writers and creatives on independent publications, podcasts, and digital storytelling projects. Some works have been featured in online magazines, niche journals, and community platforms focused on social commentary and personal growth.

What drew me into writing wasn’t a single moment—it was a slow, consistent pull. I’ve always felt compelled to explore the “why” behind things, why we think the way we do. Why do specific memories stick? Why people change. Writing is my way of making sense of it all—and maybe helping others do the same.

There have been a few key turning points in my journeymoments that reshaped my lens. One was stepping away from a corporate career to pursue creative work full-time. It was scary, humbling, and one of the most freeing decisions I’ve ever made. It reminded me that clarity often comes through risk. That shift gave birth to MajorityVoice.orga space where authenticity isn’t optional, it’s essential.

Outside of writing, you’ll usually find me exploring second-hand bookstores, geeking out over documentaries, or wandering through a city to see what I discover. I’ve got a soft spot for good coffee, music that tells a story, and conversations that stretch past midnight. These little joys, I think, fuel the bigger ones.

You’ll find a blend of thoughtfulness and curiosity on this blog. I write from a place of honesty, not perfection. I aim to offer insight, provoke thought, and spark meaningful dialogue. Whether you’re here to read, reflect, or respond, I’m grateful you’ve joined me in this space.

Let’s stay connected. If something I’ve written moves you or makes you want to share your thoughtsI’d love to hear from you. You can reach out through the contact form.

Thanks for being here.
